In 2008 the Award for Expert of the Year was awarded to Peter Sheahan for his outstanding publications and world changing presentations.

In 2008 the Award for Socialpreneur of the Year was awarded to Peter Baines for his work and leadership in the creation of the Hands Across the Water Foundation.

To date, this program has raised several million dollars and funded the building and ongoing operations of two orphanges in Thailand for Tsunami orphans and also the aquistion of a rubber plantation to create a sustainable self supporting income stream for the ongoing funding of the orphanages.

In 2008 the Entrepreneur of the Year award was given to Lisa Messenger for her revolutionary publishing business completely innovating the book to print process.

In 2008 the Innovator of the Year went to Julia Bickerstaff of Deloitte for her ground breaking work raising profile on TV and in the national networks for what Deloitte can do for small business and their innovation programs generally.
